Bank help out charities

Eight local charities in Doncaster have received £100 as part of Yorkshire Building Society Charitable Foundation’s giveaway.

Throughout one week in summer Yorkshire Building Society invited customers to call into the branch on Printing Office Street to nominate a charity they would like to see receive a £100 donation.

Charities who were awarded £100 included Armthorpe Swimming Club, Doncaster Macular Group, Guide Dogs, Weston Park Cancer Trust, M25 Housing Support Group and East Doncaster Development Trust.

Bluebell Wood and Mayflower Sanctuary also received a £100 donation.
