A CHARITY shop has been giving something back to people who donated them items.

Anyone who donated clothes, shoes, books or bags to the British Red Cross charity shop in Hall Gate, Doncaster, was given a £5 voucher to spend in the store.

Every full bag of donations earned one voucher, so people were encouraged to dig deep to help the shop.

It was helped that by holding this special donation day the charity shop would be able to make an extra £200 to help their cause.

Funds from the charity shop go to help people in crisis situations both in the UK and abroad, and donations of goods to sell are always being accepted through the store.

If anybody would like more information on the British Red Cross, or would like to make a donation of goods they can visit the store in Hall Gate, call 01302 368 511 or log onto www.redcross.org.uk.
