Justice Dje of Balby Carr Community Sports & Science College has been named the Sky Sports Living for Sport Student of the Year for Yorkshire & the Humber.

a Doncaster student has scored a prestigious sporting award after overcoming her confidence issues.

Justice Dje, 13, of Balby Carr Community Sports and Science College, has been named the Sky Sports Living for Sport Student of the Year for Yorkshire & the Humber.

Justice moved to the UK from the Ivory Coast aged ten and her first language is French.

In her first year at secondary school she was very withdrawn and lacked confidence in PE, especially in team sports as she struggled to communicate with her peers.

But thanks to the sky sports programme new activities were introduced Justice started to shine.
